The material-handling has become in a vital importance for manufacturing engineers that are searching for more effective production systems that can be carried out. It has now become a critical element in controlling costs and delivery of value. Automation is the tool that has permitted manufacturing system to establish a greater, consistent, fast and efficient ways of jobs. This research attempts the methodologies necessity for greater solutions in mobile technology implementation for material-handling systems (MHS). The general objective of this research was to apply new technologies to add flexibility and mobility into manufacturing systems. The main objective was to develop and testing a model for physically and logically integrating a MHS and mobile technologies (MT) for augmented reality services. The goal then became finding the optimum configuration of equipment and information technology for an effective MHS. In this research, I used a personal computer (PC), a transfer belt system and MT as a prototype to test the model. The performance of the prototype system was good. The physical and logical integration proved effective configuration for the transportation system. With the integration of highly effective MHS and MT, users have multiple connectivity options, and this permits users to be mobile and still use the best network connection at all points. In addition, control configuration is able to communicate with the system’s components and synchronize their functions achieving the desired synergy for information flow into the complete system. The model is widely enough to be used with different MHS and different mobile devices by just implementing the step sequence of the model.
