Peace and love. The Possibility of the Political and Legal Constitution of a Community in J.-L. Marion’s Phenomenology as a Continuation of the Proposal of E. Levinas

In this article, accepting the “extravagant hypothesis” formulated by Miguel Abensour regarding the productive articulation between ethics and politics in Levinas, and taking into account the continuation of the Levinasian work in Marion’s proposal regarding the question of love and the call, we will introduce an analysis of Gabriela Cabezón Cámara’s novel, Las aventuras de la China Iron. The aim of the text is to try to account for the political and legal dimension of the hermeneutics of love in relation to the problem of the constitution of a community.

En este artículo, aceptando la “hipótesis extravagante” formulada por Miguel Abensour sobre la productiva articulación entre ética y política en Levinas, y teniendo en cuenta la continuación del trabajo levinasiano en la propuesta de Marion sobre la cuestión del amor y la llamada, introduciremos un análisis de la novela de Gabriela Cabezón Cámara, Las aventuras de la China Iron. El objetivo del texto es tratar de dar cuenta de la dimensión política y jurídica de la hermenéutica del amor en relación con el problema de la constitución de la comunidad.
