Repositorio México Textil

Resumen: La apertura de archivos, bibliotecas y museos en la red es una realidad cada vez más presente y necesaria que permite extender los acervos y registros patrimoniales más allá de las paredes de los recintos culturales que los contienen, llevando el conocimiento a diversas áreas geográficas. En este documento se desglosa una propuesta de proyecto que pretende ser una herramienta de difusión del patrimonio textil en la red para un aprendizaje contínuo de los usuarios interesados en esta rama de las humanidades. El Repositorio México Textil en colaboración con el Museo de Arte Popular, es un primer acercamiento a la digitalización de acervos por parte del museo y un ejercicio de recuperación de investigación y documentación de una serie de exposiciones temporales. Abstract: The archives, libraries, and museums opening on the Internet is an increasingly present and necessary reality that allows the extension of heritage collections and records beyond the walls of the cultural enclosures that house them, bringing knowledge to various geographical areas. This document outlines a project proposal that aims to be a tool for the dissemination of textile heritage online, providing continuous learning for users interested in this branch of the humanities. The Repositorio Mexico Textil, in collaboration with the Museo de Arte Popular, represents the museum's initial foray into digitizing its collections and serves as an exercise in the recovery, research, and documentation of a series of temporary exhibitions.
