dc.description.abstractGeneration of experimental data in consolidated porous media to calibrate Mechanistic models of flow through porous media where capillary saturation gradients play a fundamental role in a wide range of orders of magnitude of viscous forces. Highlight the importance of contact angle dynamics and implement previous work of the research group for analysis in situ of interfacial properties, by inspection of drops emerging either from consolidated porous media, or animations of simulations of phases displaced within capillaries. Explore the possibility of recover oil from connected/ intricate bugs within fractured porous media using CFD.es_MX
